Old Woman's Birth Control Pills

老太太的避孕药
 
An elderly woman went into the doctor's office. When the doctor asked why she was there, she replied, "I'd like to have some birth-control pills."

一位老太太去看医生。当医生问她为何而来，她回答，“我想要些避孕药。”

Taken back, the doctor thought for a minute and then said, "Excuse me, Mrs. Smith, but you're 72 years old. What possible use could you have for birth control pills?"

愣了一下，医生想了一分钟后说，“对不起，史密斯太太，您都72岁了，还要避孕药干什么？”
 

The woman responded, "They help me sleep better."

老太太回答：“这药能帮助我睡好点。”

The doctor thought some more and continued, "How in the world do birth control pills help you to sleep?"

医生想了想，又问：“避孕药怎么能使你睡好觉？”

The woman said, "Simple, I put them in my granddaughter's orange juice every morning and I sleep better at night."

老太太说，“这简单，我每天早晨把药片放到孙女喝的橙汁里，我晚上睡觉就踏实了。”
